She was an amazing artist, always full of joy
and laughter who truly loved each
and every one of her clients.

She was an amazing artist, always full of joy
and laughter who truly loved each
and every one of her clients.
Beth will be forever missed
Bethany Saura grew up in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, with art and family always being her top priorities.
As far as she could remember, creativity had consistently been a major part of her life.
For Bethany, art had always been a form of escape, allowing everything to roll off her shoulders and focus on that sole thing! Since she was little, she had always been drawing, painting, or working with other types of mediums.
She spent the remainder of her time horseback riding, hunting, camping and hanging out with one of her many pets.
At age twenty, Bethany was married to her husband and picked up a tattoo machine for the first time. Lot's of changes!
For a birthday gift for a friend, she did a rendition of a realism drawing of the famous painting Michelangelo’s hand of God. Instead of doing a replica of the painting she did Adam’s arm fully tattooed after with the same tattoos as her friend. Friends and family suggested how she could do well as a tattoo artist and should look at getting into the industry.
Fast forward to 2019, with many years of hard work, passion and determination, Bethany was doing what she loved. In October of 2018 Bethany went into business with Candice Browne.
Many hours went into designing, organizing and building The Ink Parlour.
Bethany and Candice together opened the The Ink Parlour tattoo studio in 2018.
She enjoyed working on more realistic black and grey pieces.
As an artist, you never stop learning and her plan was to continue expanding her skills and following her passion.
